Love Unbounded: A Parent's Guide to Spiritual Awakening

The sensation of parenthood is indescribable—a symphony of boundless happiness and pure bliss as you witness your own "creation" unfurl into a beautiful bloom with each passing day. It's the feeling of being absolutely EVERYTHING to that little one, their unwavering gaze reflecting adoration in every possible way.

As I contemplated the source of this exquisite emotion, a profound insight dawned upon me—it's the remarkable ability to perceive your child as an extension of your very soul. To put it differently, it's the magic of integrating the child as an inseparable part of your being.

Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba often said: "My Love for you is more than that of a thousand mothers." Delving deeper into this statement, I realized that He has, in fact, embraced the entire cosmos as His very own, a love far more intense than our finite comprehension can grasp! While we strive to embrace the universe, how can we truly gauge the depths of His love compared to what we feel for our children?

Previously, I mentioned that we consider our children our "creation." In truth, we don't create life; we merely contribute the genetic substance needed for its inception. Nevertheless, we cherish the child as our creation and feel an unbreakable bond.  Baba doesn't speak as a mere person but as the very source of Creation itself. He transcends our comprehension in terms of the unity He shares with the universe. It's no wonder we witnessed Him in a perpetual state of bliss, exuberance, and ecstasy. His words, "See Me in you, for I see Myself in you all," now shine with clarity.

Now, back to my own journey. While my love for my child knows no bounds, the physical space is undeniably limited. The issue lies in our expectation of boundless fulfillment within the confines of this space, which often leads to suffering. Let's not restrict this concept to humanity—why can't I extend my love to every child as I do to my own? It may seem like a narrow perspective, but expanding one's consciousness is the ultimate goal of spirituality. "Expansion is My Life," as Bhagwan wisely proclaimed.

During my introspection on how to embrace this expansive love, I came to a profound realization: the only and most potent mantra, the elixir that can guide us toward living as Baba did, is simple yet profound:

"LOVE ALL SERVE ALL"

These words flow effortlessly from our lips, but I dare say they are among the most challenging principles to practice, internalize, and truly embody within oneself.

In sharing my reflections, I might have cited only one or two of Baba's sayings that often grace our everyday conversations, often without recognizing that each word from His wisdom is a mantra capable of liberating us, provided we grant it the attention it deserves. It's a testament to the profound truth that within the boundless realm of love, our lives can bloom and harmonize with the universe, basking in the unending ecstasy of unity.
